BIO
American Revolutionary War and United States Civil War Historian Michael Cloherty O'Connell's career in public service spans more than four decades. He was born in Arlington & grew up close by in Historic East Lexington, Massachusetts near the First Blow for Liberty, and the Shot Heard Round the World. He graduated from Lexington High School in 1981 then earned a Bachelor's Degree from Northeastern University.
He also holds Master Degrees from Boston University, and Boston College. Lady Liberty's Treasure Hunt is his first book. The author still lives in the Boston suburbs; with his beautiful wife Laurel, and is the proud father of four adult children. Michael has proudly been involved in Scouting, coaching sports, and other positive youth activities all of his teenage, and adult life.
